Johnson, 28, took over the Saints` helm last month having managed Hendon`s under-23 side to their Middlesex League title last season.

He is also North London academy scout co-ordinator at Watford.

And Johnson has gone very much for the familiar with his new recruits for the Saints, with several of his former Greens under-23 players making the step up.

Ben Gray is a left-back who was part of Johnon`s under-23 side.

He also made his first team debut in the London Senior Cup tie at Harrow Borough in September 2018.

He was also dual registered with Spartan South Midlands League side Edgware Town last term.

Goalkeeper Daniel Purdie signed first team forms for Hendon in November 2017 and made his debut in a Buildbase FA Trophy replay at Slough Town, becoming a hero as he saved two penalties in the shoot-out.

He was a regular for the Greens under-18s in 2016/17 and 2017/18 and became part of Johnson`s under-23 squad.

Khalil Francis and Ricardo Alexander-Greenaway were both members of Hendon`s under-18 and under-23 squads who were signed on first team forms in March 2018.

Jordan Payne is a defender who was also part of Hendon`s under-23 squad under Johnson and made his first team debut in the London Senior Cup tie at Harrow Borough in September 2018 and signed Southern League forms a month later.

Midfielder Alfred Acheampong was managers` player of the year for Hendon`s under-23s last season

Four players have joined Chalfont from other teams.

Andre Odetola is a combative central midfielder who played for Staines Town and Harrow Borough last season.

Luke Jones scored 12 goals from midfield for Oxhey Jets in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division last season, while Luke Massingham is a commanding young centre-back who captained Vanarama National League South side Wealdstone`s under-18 side last season.

He also featured for the first team as captain on debut.

Perry Aitchison signs after spells with Spartan South Midlands teams Edgware Town and London Tigers.
