The 26-year-old midfielder was originally in Watford’s academy team but has spent much of his career abroad, playing in Canada, Iceland and the USA, most recently with St Louis FC, before joining U’s in February, impressing with his versatility as he deputised at left-back and centre-back during the last few games of the season.

Gray told https://www.suttonunited.net: Jon is someone I brought to the club a little after Christmas and I have been really impressed with his performances towards the back end of the season.  As well as showing that he is a good player, Jon has a fantastic attitude and is a big addition to our squad. I look forward to working with him this coming season”.
