The young
defender, who has had two loan spells with the Robins, helped the side avoid
relegation with an impressive run in at the end of last season.
Capel,
who was a former Cambridge United scholar, had spells at Histon and Cherry
Hinton before joining Cambridge City, originally as a youth team player.
He then
went on to break through into the Lillywhites first team at Step 4 level.
Manager
Brady Stone told the club`s website: “I am delighted to have Adam at the club. He
was fantastic during the last month of the season when he was on loan. He is a
great lad on and off the pitch and I am so looking forward to working with him
next season.”
Stone also
confirmed that most of his squad from last season has already signed up for the
forthcoming season.
“The main
aim was to keep the squad from last season, and we have nearly done that. There
are still a few players yet to re-sign but we have not lost anyone which is
really pleasing”. |
