Gateshead-born Smith was previously on the books at Newcastle United, where he impressed after breaking into the Magpies' under-23s side at an early age.

A left-sided player, he first joined the Magpies at the age of 11 and made two appearances in the Checkatrade Trophy against Crewe Alexandra and Port Vale, as well as featuring in 13 Premier League 2 games.

He moved to Hull City in the summer of 2018 and predominantly played in the Tigers` under-23 side.

Midfielder Page was Swailes` first new signing from former Northern League rivals Sunderland RCA.

He joined RCA from another Northern League rival, Easington Colliery, in 2016.

He is a strong-tackling, powerful central midfielder was joint winner of the committee and the supporters' player of the season awards in 2017/18 and his form the following season saw him snapped up by the Northern League title-winners.
