Midfielder
Amir Berkane has returned to Regent, having first signed for the club on loan
from Chelmsford City.
He
started his career with Ipswich Town and, after being with Chelmsford, was part
of the successful Brightlingsea Regent team that won promotion before moving to
Aveley.
He
had spent three seasons in the United States at university and returned to help
the Millers reach the Bostik North play-offs last season.
Goalkeeper Charlie Turner has signed for Regent
after impressing last season for Essex Senior League side Stansted.
The 23-year-old won
the league`s golden glove` and player of the season as Stansted finished
runners-up in the league whilst also winning two knockout cup competitions.
He has previously
played for Thurlow Nunn League neighbours Haverhill Borough and Haverhill
Rovers.
Young
forward Romario Dunne has also made the move to Brightlingsea.
Dunne,
who can also play wide, had an excellent 2018/19 season for Thurlow Nunn League
Premier Division side Hadleigh United after joining them from Stanway Rovers.
