Rigg, 26, joins the Whites having spent last season with demoted Gateshead, where he scored 9 goals in 44 matches after joining in July 2018.

He started his career with Penrith, where over 60 goals during his two seasons with the Northern League side saw him move into the Football League with League Two neighbours Carlisle United.

Rigg played 36 times for the Cumbrians and scored on his debut, before moving to Barrow AFC on loan in 2015.

Following his release by Carlisle, he moved north of the border and signed for Scottish Championship side Queen of the South for one season, before returning to Carlisle on a short-term deal in 2017.

Spells with Chorley, Workington AFC and American side Erie Commodores FC of the National Premier Soccer League followed during the 2017/18 campaign before he joined The Heed.
