In addition, manager Paul Hughes has re-signed Toby Little, Jack Smith, Connor Toomey, Nathan Webb, Mitchal Gough and Elliot Benyon from his title-winning squad.

Matt Hall returns to United for a second spell.

The former Watford and Ross County central defender will be hoping this time to nail down a regular spot having originally who joined Hayes & Yeading at the end of August 2017 on dual registration with Vanarama National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town.

The 22-year-old never really nailed down a regular starting place in the side and moved to Northwood after a few months with United.

He has since had spells with Northwood and Barton Rovers

New faces arriving at the SKYex are Ismail Yakubu, Ahmed Abdulla and Lee Flavin.

Yakubu is a vastly experienced Nigerian-born defender who ended last season with Bostik Premier side Kingtonian.

The 34-year-old joined Barnet at the age of 11, turned professional at 16 and made his first-team debut at 17.

He went on to make nearly 400 appearances for the Bees before joining AFC Wimbledon in 2010.

In his one season with the Dons he helped the team into the Football League and scored one of the penalties in the decisive shoot-out in the Promotion Final against Newport County.

It was to Newport that he went after his release from Wimbledon that summer, and with the Welsh club he reached the FA Trophy Final in 2012 and won another Conference play-off final in 2013.

He has also played for Woking, Hemel Hempstead Town, and joined Kingstonian in February 2019.

Midfielder Abdulla joins United after being on the books at National League South outfit Concord Rangers last season.

Saudi Arabian-born, the 27-year-old started his career as a youngster with Arsenal but signed his first professional deal with West Ham United in 2011.

Whilst on the Hammers books he had loan spells with Swindon Town, for whom he made his League debut in September 2011, and Dagenham & Redbridge.

He signed for Barnet in the summer of 2012 after leaving West Ham and played 29 times for the Bees.

Moves to Whitehawk, Staines Town, Whitehawk again and Ware followed before he joined Bostik North side Heybridge Swifts in February 2018, joining the Beachboys in October 2018.

Another experienced arrival is midfielder Lee Flavin, who left his role as player/assistant-manager of Essex Senior League side Ilford in February 2019 to take up a coaching role with Hayes` former Bostik South Central rivals Hertford Town.

He numbers Dagenham & Redbridge, Kentish Town, Leyton, Waltham Forest, Godalming Town, Horsham YMCA, Concord Rangers, Walton Casuals, St Albans City, Waltham Forest, Bedford Town and Harlow Town amongst his other former clubs.

Meanwhile, Ritchie Hanlon has returned to Hayes & Yeading as part of Paul Hughes’ management team.

The former Peterborough United, Rushden & Diamonds and Cambridge United midfielder, who was joint boss with Hughes at Kings Langley, has been appointed as joint/assistant-manager with Peter Holmes to add to the existing coaching set-up which sees Clark Jenner continue as coach and Delroy Preddie as goalkeeping coach.

Hughes told http://hyufc.com: “One of the strengths from last season was the unity in the management team. We’re all good friends and have a healthy respect for each other’s opinions.

“Ritchie’s return to the dug-out alongside me will only enhance that spirit. He’s a great friend, a brilliant coach and a good human-being. We all love him, and we’ve spoken regularly since he had to depart the club two years ago. He’ll bring a big personality and huge energy to the dressing room alongside a very strong work ethic that epitomises who we are.

“I’m really excited to have him onboard and he will contribute hugely to what we hope is another successful season at Hayes & Yeading United”.
