The Londoner started his career with Barking in the Essex Senior League.

He went on to have spells with Thurrock, Aveley, Grays Athletic and Heybridge Swifts.

He returned to Barking during the 2015/16 season and helped the Blues gain promotion to the Bostik North.

A move to Brentwood Town occurred during the summer of 2016 and it proved a great decision as his goalscoring exploits caught the attention of Football League clubs, but the attacker suffered a shoulder injury midway through the season, which forced him to spend a lengthy amount of time on the sidelines.

Once he returned, he picked up where he left off and then spent the 2017 summer with the Jamie Vardy V9 academy, which alerted Newport County to his services.

He went on to make 14 appearances, scoring once in the EFL Trophy against Cheltenham Town for the Welsh club.

He joined the Daggers in the summer of 2018 having spent the second half of the 2017/18 season on loan at Leyton Orient, making 12 appearances in all competitions.

He joined Chelmsford City in March 2019 on loan until the end of the season and made 8 appearances, including the National League South play-off semi-final which they lost to Welling United, scoring one goal for the Clarets.

Former Heybridge Swifts defender Jack Cawley from Bostik League North side Maldon & Tiptree was Scopes` first signing at the Aspect Arena and he was joined recently by Billy Roast, Kreshnic Krasniqi and Decarrey Sheriff.

Roast is no stranger to Concord Rangers after a spell with the club in 2016/17, making 47 appearances for the Beachboys in that spell.

He started his career with Colchester United and before his first spell with Rangers, played for Bury Town, AFC Hornchurch and Maldon & Tiptree.

He returns to the Beachboys from league rivals Dartford, who he signed for n the summer of 2018.

Like Cawley, midfielder Krasniqi is another of last season’s Heybridge Swifts team to make the move to the Aspect Arena.

He spent four years playing professionally in Kosavo but spent three years in Cyprus with Ormideia and Ethnikos Achna.

He came to England in 2016 and signed for Billericay Town, where he made 25 appearances, scoring 3 goals.

A move to Enfield Town was followed by spells with Barking and Heybridge, for whom he appeared 36 times in 2018/19, scoring 9 goals.

Sheriff, 21, joins Concord after recently being released by League Two side Colchester United.

He had loan spells with Dulwich Hamlets, Needham Market and Maldon & Tiptree whilst on the U`s books.
