Longhurst has signed a number of players to coincide with losing a few over the summer, with several returning to East Court.

Jack Meeres, Dan Hogan and Tariq Straker all return to the Wasps, while Robin Deen has re-signed after spending last season on loan with Southern Combination League Premier Division side Saltdean United and Dan Pearse has also signed as player-coach after being on loan from Bostik Premier champions Dorking Wanderers last season.

The Sutton-born midfielder previously captained Burgess Hill Town in the Bostik Premier at just 21, and joined Dorking in March 2017.

Meeres returns after a spell with Saltdean, while Hogan has returned to the club via Whytleafe and Horsham having previously been with Merstham and Straker re-joins after a season at another Southern Combination Premier outfit, Langley Wanderers.

Straker also numbers Guildford City and Staines Town amongst his former clubs.

Midfielder or forward Ross Ibbertson signs from Hollands & Blair having previously been at Chelsea and Gillingham as a youth player.

Josh Bray joins after a short spell out of the game after playing previously at this level with Chatham Town.

Reed Wilson comes in after spells at Greenwich Borough, Margate and playing in Gibraltar for Lions, Bruno`s Magpies and FC Olympique, Kyle Woolven signs from Newhaven having played first team football for three seasons since the age of 16 and he’s someone we have kept tabs on and have high hopes for this year.

Longhurst has also managed to bring in Curtis Gaylor after a number of clubs where chasing him.

He is a Sussex-based attacking midfielder who has had spells with Horsham, Burgess Hill Town, Hastings United, Worthing, Whitehawk and Lewes.
