.....Northern Ireland under-21 international defender Ryan Johnson
from Stevenage – with Manny Sonupé heading to the SkyBet League Two side.
Strong
and powerful, 21-year-old central defender Johnson has inked a long-term loan
with Harriers which runs until January.
Birmingham-born
Johnson started his career with West Bromwich Albion before joining Stevenage
and, since 2013, has made 13 Football League appearances, in addition to key
loan spells in non-League football with Boreham Wood and St Albans City.
Johnson,
who has eleven under-21 caps and also spent time on trial with Tottenham
Hotspur last year, also knows all about the National League North after
impressing at Nuneaton Town on loan last season – making nineteen appearances
there during the second half of the campaign.
Sonupé,
meanwhile, has been handed the chance to move up to League Two after inking a
permanent deal with Boro for an undisclosed fee.
He
spent just over a year at Aggborough, enjoying a particularly strong season
last term in which he netted 15 goals.
