A quick tricky striker, he joined Boro from Moneys in February 2018 and scored 20 league goals last season and finished top scorer.

After bagging 48 goals for Baffins Milton Rovers in the Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier in 2016/17, Pennery made the short trip across Portsmouth to re-join Moneys – where he originally came through the youth ranks – at the start of the 2017/18 season and netted 14 goals before moving to Privett Park.
