Bostik League South Central club Barking have added another three players to their squad.

Midfielder or forward Steven Carvell joins after spending last season with Essex Senior League side Sporting Bengal, scoring 9 goals in 42 appearances.

 

Carvell has also spent time at Barkingside, VCD Athletic and Basildon United, Thurrock FC and Phoenix Sports.

 

Attacking midfielder Kojo Apenteng joins from former Bostik North rivals Brentwood Town.

 

The 23-year-old scored 7 goals in 23 games last season having arrived in September 2018.

 

He has previously been with Crystal Palace, Portsmouth, Corinthian-Casuals and Canvey Island.

 

Defender Callum Thompson moves to Mayesbrook Park from another former Bostik North rival, Basildon United, where he spent the second half of last season after joining from Grays Athletic.

 

A Grays academy product, he broke into the first team during the 2017/18 season and made 16 appearances for before joining Basildon in February 2019.
