Ammies Defender To Spend Next Season With The Nash
Defender Josh Askew has joined Motorama National League North club Curzon Ashton for 2019/20 on a season-long loan from SkyBet League Two new boys Salford City.

Askew made 5 appearances in cup competitions last season as well as having a couple of loan moves away from the Ammies.

 

The pacey 21-year-old defender joined Salford ahead of the 2017/18 season after spending nine years with Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers.

 

He signed his first professional contract with Rovers in the summer of 2016 but spent most of the 2016/17 season on loan with Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One North West side Ramsbottom United and then in the NPL Premier Division with Warrington Town.
