Bostik League South East club Ashford United have signed midfielder Zak Henry and forward Brandon McCarthy.

Henry joins from Bostik North outfit Grays Athletic and was previously at Cray Wanderers.

 

Henry made 67 appearances for Cray after making his debut in February 2017 and was a part of the side which reached the Bostik South play-offs in 2017/19.

 

He moved to Grays in December 2018 and was previously with Horsham YMCA.

 

McCarthy started as a schoolboy with Premier League Crystal Palace and then became part of the academy at League Two Barnet academy before joining Sutton United.

 

He had a trial with Middlesborough under-23s in the summer of 2017 and played for both Brightlingsea Regent and Cheshunt in the Bostik North.

 

He joins having played at Bostk South Central side Egham Town last season.
