Christy Finch and Dominic Docherty arrive from Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division Central side Leiston, while George Clarke joins from league rivals Brantham Athletic.

Finch, 26, has spent the last four years at Step 3 side Leiston, where he regularly found the target, scoring 59 goals in 167 appearances.

Although Finch has more recently played at a higher level, the striker is no stranger to the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division.

In 2013/14, he topped the scoring charts with 33 goals for Gorleston to walk away with the `golden boot` that season.

Stowmarket manager Rick Andrews told https://www.stowmarkettownfc.co.uk: "I tried to sign Christy last season, but circumstances didn't allow it.

"Christy's one of the best finishers I have seen and is a very unselfish player.

"At 26, I feel his best years are in front of him and it excites me that the Stow fans will get to see him in action for us."

Midfielder Docherty, 24, joins up with the Old Gold & Blacks for after also agreeing to make the switch from the Blues.

Docherty has been at Victory Road for the last two seasons, after joining from league rivals and neighbours Lowestoft Town in May 2017.

He returned to the UK to join the Trawlerboys midway through the 2016/17 campaign, having been on a scholarship at Lynn Univesity, in California.

Twenty-three-year-old striker Clarke, who was formerly at Ipswich Town's academy as a teenager, finished as the top scorer for Brantham in 2018/19, with 13 goals in 28 games, including one against Stow in the Suffolk Premier Cup quarter-finals in February.

Before joining Brantham at the end of 2017, Clarke previously had spells at Hadleigh United, Brightlingsea Regent, AFC Sudbury, where he won a Bostik North championship medal, and Maldon & Tiptree.

Finch, Docherty and Clarke join Dave Cowley (Ware), James Bradbrook (Brightlingsea Regent), Jack Ainsley (Felixstowe & Walton United), Joe Jefford and Tom Bullard (both Leiston) in agreeing moves to Greens Meadow this summer.
