Gateshead Borrow Second Harrogate Player for the 2019/20 Season

Defender Toby Lees has joined Motorama National League North club Gateshead on a season-long loan from National League side Harrogate Town.

The 22-year-old joins up with Liam Agnew, who is also on season`s loan to The Heed.

Lees is one of many talented young players to have come through the Harrogate youth ranks and break into the senior team.

The defender was drafted into the team for the last fixture of 2016/17 where he helped his side keep a clean sheet and has been a reliable choice when called upon.

Toby’s older brother Tom is also a central defender currently with Sheffield Wednesday and formerly of Leeds United.
