Experienced Wilson Signs for Dronfield
Toolstation Northern Counties East League Division One club Dronfield Town have signed vastly experienced midfielder Laurie Wilson.

Wilson joins after being on the books at newly promoted Worksop Town and Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division Basford United last season.

 

He joined Basford in May 2017 from Stamford AFC, where he had spent the previous three months.

 

He brings experience at a higher level to the team having played for Frickley Athletic, Matlock Town, Gainsborough Trinity and Alfreton Town, who he helped to win the National League North title in 2011.

 

He started his career as a youth player on the books of Sheffield Wednesday.

 

Dronfield have also signed Alex Pugh from league rivals Parkgate.
