Switched Cockfosters Bring in Two

Cockfosters, switched to the Essex Senior League for 2019/20, have signed Luke Marshall and Matty Thomson.

Forward Marshall brings a bundle of experience to Cockfosters after playing at a higher level.

He joins having ended the 2018/19 season with Bostik League South Central side Hertford Town who he joined from Essex Senior League side St Margaretsbury.late on.

Marshall, 29, joined St Margaretsbury in June 2018 from Cheshunt having previously won the Bostik North with Grays Athletic.

He has also represented Harlow Town and Ware.

Experienced midfielder Thomson also joins from Hertford, where he spent the last three seasons or so.

He has also worn the colours of Welwyn Garden City, Cheshunt, Colney Heath, Broxbourne Borough and Hoddesdon Town.
