The 22-year-old is an exciting and dynamic left-footed winger who had a successful season at the War Memorial Ground in 2018/19, scoring 8 goals in all competitions.

Mendy was influential to the Robins' second-place finish and reaching the last sixteen of the Buildbase FA Trophy.

The speedster has previous ties with Atletico Madrid at youth level and has versatility to play as a winger, midfielder or wing-back.

Manager Dean Brennan told https://www.wealdstone-fc.com: "Jacob is a player that we have monitored for the last ten months. He's an exciting young talent with a great attitude and he will fit well into the ethos of our group".
