Tshimanga
had attracted major interest from sides at National League and Football League
level following his recent goalscoring exploits.
Tshimanga,
21, joins Wood from National League South side Oxford City where he bagged a
very impressive 37 goals in all competitions in 2018/19.
The
red-hot marksman concluded the campaign by being awarded managers` players` and
supporters` player of the season.
Last
season he burst onto the main stage of the Emirates FA Cup when scoring a hat-trick
away at Tranmere Rovers back in November 2018 catching the eye of many.
Tshimanga
started his career at MK Dons making his full debut in November 2014 before
going on to sign his first professional contract just two months later.
Whilst on
the Dons` books, he had loan spells out with Aldershot Town, Chelmsford City,
Corby Town, Nuneaton Town, Chesham United, Yeovil Town and Icelandic side
Throttur Reykjavik.
He joined
Oxford City from National League North side Boston United in June 2018, having
made 34 appearances for the Pilgrims and scoring 8 goals. |
