Early
summer recruits Frankie Merrifield and Jordan Brown arrived from Bostik North
side Canvey Island, while George Brown has joined from KeyBet League Two side
Colchester United.
Midfielder
Merrifield originally signed for Canvey Island on a dual registration from East
Thurrock`s former National League South rivals Chelmsford City in December 2016
before becoming a permanent member of the squad.
He began
his career with AFC Wimbledon in 2011, playing 5 times in the Football League
before joining Hayes & Yeading United in 2013.
He left
for Bishop's Stortford in October 2014 and followed manager Rod Stringer to
Chelmsford in May 2016.
Left-back
Jordan Brown joined the Gulls last summer.
He came
through the ranks at West Ham United, spending time on loan with Aldershot Town
before being released in 2012.
He went
on to have spells with clubs including Crewe Alexandra, Barnet, Welling United
before spending 2017/18 at Concord Rangers.
Another
Brown to join the Rocks is former Colchester under-23 player George Brown.
The 21-year-old
is no stranger to Rookery Hill, having enjoyed a loan spell with the Rocks back
in the autumn of 2017.
A pacey
wide player with an eye for goal, he spent a chunk of last season on loan at
Margate, but at the end of the season was one of a number of young players
released by Colchester.
