Dawson`s new
signings are strikers Jonathan Fusco and Ben Thornton, midfielder Josh Davies and
returning defenders Tim Whittaker and Oliver Yates.
Fusco,
22, joins from league rivals Rossington Main, having previously been with the
likes of Hallam, Worksop Town and Sheffield FC after starting out at Sheffield
Wednesday as a youngster.
Thornton,
26, arrives from NCEL Premier Division side Maltby Main, having also been at Hallam
previously.
Davies, 29,
joins from NCEL Premier Division side Handsworth Parramore, having joined them last
season from Parkgate`s former league rivals Harworth Colliery, who were
relegated to the Central Midlands League at the end of last season.
He
started out at Rotherham United and went on to have spells with Gainsborough
Trinity, Worksop Town and Buxton.
Yates,
21, was also on Handsworth`s books last season. He originally came through the
ranks at Parkgate and played alongside manager Dawson before going on to play
in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League with Ossett Albion.
Whittaker,
24, also re-joins Parkgate from league rivals Rossington Main.
His previous
clubs include Sheffield FC, Staveley Miners Welfare, Hallam, Penistone Church and
Rainworth Miners Welfare.
