Smith Makes Permanent Romans Return
Midfielder Tom Smith has joined Motorama National League South club Bath City on a permanent basis after an agreement was reached to cancel his contract with SkyBet League Two side Cheltenham Town.

The 21-year-old re-joins the Romans where he spent the majority of the 2018/19 campaign on loan as well as having two other stints at Twerton Park, totalling 58 appearances and 18 goals

 

He signed for Cheltenham from Swindon Town in the summer of 2018 and made one first team appearance for the Robins in a Carabao Cup penalty shoot-out win over Colchester United.

 

He moves permanently to Twerton Park having helped Bath reach the National League South play-offs last term.
