He joins the current team and will bring in vast experience at non-League level and above having played at Football League level with Accrington Stanley as well as spells at Ashton United, Rossendale United, Burscough and Prescot Cables.

Bell recently was influential in guiding Vauxhall Motors to promotion into the Hallmark Security League as they finished runners-up in the West Cheshire League and will hopefully form a good working partnership with the current management team.

Speaking to the club`s website, Bell said: "I am really happy to be approached by Dave and Chris and join the management team at Skem, I'm looking forward to getting started with pre-season and helping to build a team that the fans can be proud of."

Manager Dave Powell added: "I am delighted to welcome Karl to the club, he brings in vast experience at this level and above that will benefit the club and I'm glad to have him on board to support Chris Stammer".
