Morath-Gibbs,
who joined the Robins in 2016 from Dulwich Hamlet, made 116 appearances in
total for the club and scored 7 goals.
Morath-Gibbs
numbers Merstham, Chatham Town, Fisher and Dulwich as his former clubs having
come through the Aspire Academy.
Cray
Valley have also brought in vastly experienced midfielder Dave Martin.
Martin,
34, began his career in Sussex with Brighton & Hove Albion, before
returning back to his native South London with Slade Green in 2004 and then
Dartford in 2005.
With the
Darts, he scored 14 goals in 68 appearances over two seasons, form which
attracted the attention of then-Championship side Crystal Palace, who he joined
for a fee of £25,000, although he was restricted to only 14 appearances at
Selhurst Park.
He made
the switch across South London to Millwall in 2008, where he made 90
appearances, scoring 9 goals.
He then
had spells with Derby County, Notts County and Walsall before joining Southend
United in 2012, making 31 appearances during a year in Essex.
Time spent
with Luton Town, Bristol Rovers and Stevenage followed before being signed by
Whitehawk and being a crucial part of the Hawks’ FA Cup run to the Second Round
in 2015 and helping them to the National League South play-offs in 2016.
He left
shortly after for Bromley, before joining Margate on loan, a move which he made
permanent in 2017/18 before leaving in the summer of 2018 for National League South
side Eastbourne Borough. |
