The
19-year-old former Ipswich Town academy player has been a target for the
Planters for some time.
As
a 17-year-old, he was selected for the England Colleges team and scored against
the Independent Schools side.
He
subsequently joined Motorama National League North newcomers King’s Lynn Town
and whilst there had loan spells with the Planters` league rivals Stowmarket
Town and Diss Town.
The
Planters have also announced the return of central midfielder Matt Daniels from
Wroxham.
A
former Norwich City and Ipswich Town academy player, Daniels left due to work
commitments after making a significant contribution to the club`s back-to-back
Thurlow Nunn Premier Division titles in the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons.
He
made 51 appearances as the Planters racked up 199 points across those two
campaigns before moving onto Histon then the Yachtsmen.
Meanwhile,
the club received another boost when Ben Fowkes signed a one-year contract.
Fowkes
arrived at Plantation Park in early March from Southern League Premier Division
Central side Lowestoft Town and made an immediate impression, bagging 4 goals
on his debut in a 6-1 win at Ely City.
He
went on to score 8 goals in 8 appearances. |
