Manager Chris Herbert's re-building continues with Woodward, who was one of his first signings, making 34 appearances for the club and scoring one goal, returning after he left during the last close season due to a change in work circumstances and turned out for Flint Town United in the Cymru Alliance in 2017/18.

Herbert told his club`s website: "Matty has plenty of experience and covers anywhere across the defence. He knows the way we play and is a real athlete as supporters will probably remember from his first spell with us. He was certainly someone we missed in certain games last season with his athleticism and it's great to have him back.

"The squad is taking shape now taking shape now and with a few more additions we we will be where we want to be ready for a tough pre-season".
