Vastly
experienced midfielder Spencer Harris and attacker Ben Morris are the latest of
manager Steve Kittrick's new recruits.
Twenty-eight-year-old
Harris, who was originally with Huddersfield Town, has been a thorn in the
Gladiators side in the past.
While
at Shaw Lane AFC in 2017/18, he headed the winner in a 1-0 win for the
now-defunct Yorkshire side. Then in the final game of the season, his header 8
minutes into added time saw Shaw Lane win 2-1.
He
has also played with Hyde United, Buxton, Guiseley AFC and Boston United among
other clubs and is also adaptable as he can cover in the central defensive
positions.
Twenty-year-old
Morris progressed through Ilkeston FC's academy to their first team and was
last year with Eastwood Community in the East Midlands Counties League.
