The
striker previously had a short spell at Julius Martin Lane at the beginning of
the 2017 season after arriving from Histon, where he progressed through the
Stutes youth set-up.
However,
after scoring 5 goals in 11 appearances left to join Godmanchester.
Meanwhile,
Lloyd Groves has announced he is staying at Soham for the new season after
agreeing to take up a new player-coach role supporting Rob Mason and Erkan
Okay.
The
defender returned to Julius Martin Lane early last season from St Ives Town
having previously been at the club during the 2016/17 campaign, which he
finished as player-assistant to Mason following his appointment as manager.
Groves
also helped the club avoid relegation on the final day of that season, scoring
twice in the home win against Maldon & Tiptree to secure their survival,
before leaving to join Thurlow Nunn League neighbours Newmarket Town during the
summer.
Four
members of last season’s squad have left Soham.
Lewis
Endacott has returned to his previous club Royston Town, where he will take
over as manager of the Southern League Premier Division Central club`s reserve
side.
The
former club captain joined the Greens in October 2016 from Welwyn Garden City,
scoring 6 goals in 88 appearances.
Ally
Conway has joined Godmanchester.
The
attacker signed for Soham at the beginning of the 2017 season from neighbours
Newmarket, scoring twice in 54 games.
Alfie
Connor has signed for Southern League Central St Neots Town.
The
midfielder arrived at the club in September 2017 from Kettering Town, scoring
twice in 53 appearances.
And
finally, Mark Lovell has joined Newmarket.
The
striker arrived at the club towards the end of the season from Haverhill
Rovers, scoring once in his 7 appearances. |
