However,
manager Scott Dundas moved swiftly to promote first-team coach Martin Prentice
as his replacement.
Dundas
told the club`s website: "Since Martin came into the club last December we
have worked very well together. So, this is great news that he will be
combining both roles.
"Martin
is a UEFA A licence coach and is always looking to get the best out of the
players.
"He
works very hard trying to drill in a winning mentality within the squad. He
knows from his past achievements what this group of players can do if they put
their minds to it.
"I’m
glad this has been sorted pretty quickly and will allow us to continue with pre-season
with very little disruption".
