Having already snapped up goalkeeper Harvey Rivers and former Wales international defender Ryan Green from higher-level clubs, the Hereford-based outfit have now added 23-year-old midfielder Billy Murphy to their ranks, having finished the 2018/19 season with Motorama National League North side Leamington.

Birmingham born Murphy is a versatile player who began his career at Hereford United where he was part of former manager Peter Beadle's youth side and made his debut for the Bulls in 2014.

Leaving Hereford before the club folded, he was snapped up by Bristol City, and captained their under-21 side before joining National League South Bath City.

He returned to Hereford to join the Phoenix club late in 2017, helping them to the Southern League title.

He left the Bulls at the turn of the year and spent a couple of months at BetVictor Southern League side Halesowen Town before joining the Brakes in March 2019.

Striker Joe Bates joins Westfields having signed for West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division side Pershore Town earlier this summer.

Worcester born, he left Westfields former Total Motion Midland League Premier Division rivals Worcester City at the end of last season.

After starting out in City`s youth team, Bates returned to Worcester in the summer of 2018 following his exit from Bishops Cleeve where he was top scorer in 2017/18 with 13 goals.

Having found first-team starts hard to come by, he went back to Cleeve before returning to Worcester at the back end of last season, finishing with 4 goals from 7 starts and 15 sub appearances across the two spells.

Two other new arrivals are both Combined Services representatives.

Defender Mark Drysdale is a Royal Marine who has played for the Combined Services team and also for Irish side Ards Rangers.

Army midfield man Adam Wakley joins from FAW Championship South & Mid League side Undy Athletic.

He also played in the Combined Services team and has previously been with Chepstow Town and Tiverton Town.
