Having
previously worked with manager Callum Brooks at Sydenhams Football League
(Wessex) Premier side Hamworthy United, the teenager has been training with the
first team squad during pre-season and featured as a second half substitute in
both of the Magpies` opening friendlies against Bridgwater Town and Horndean.
Of
the former Poole Town player, Brooks told https://dorchestertownfc.co.uk: “Neemo used
to come and train with the first team when I was at Hamworthy, and it was
obvious then that for his age he has an exceptional talent.
“When
I made the move to Dorchester, I compiled a list of what I thought were
promising young players that we could nurture with the potential of having a
bright future. Neemo was on that list, he’s come over and I don’t think people
need me to say that he has been really impressive during the time he’s been out
on the pitch.
“Even
some of the first team players in training have been saying ‘who is this lad
and how is he only 16?’, so he’s one that we’re looking forward to help nurture
and progress in the right way”.
