National League teams….

 

Enzio Boldewijn scored twice as newcomers Notts County beat League Two side Walsall 2-1 at Meadow Lane.

 

Dan Scarr put the Saddlers ahead on the stroke of half-time but Boldewijn’s second half double ensured the Magpies emerged victorious.

 

Yeovil Town, who came down with County, continued their preparation for the 2019/20 campaign with a 1-1 draw at the Avenue Stadium against BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South outfit Dorchester Town.

 

The hosts finally broke the deadlock on 44 minutes when Tom Blair showed a deft touch to apply a finish to a ball over the top.

 

The Glovers equalised 8 minutes into the second half, thanks to a penalty from an unnamed trialist.

 

Second half goals from strikers Leighton McIntosh and Jason Oswell earned Wrexham a 2-0 win against National league North side Curzon Ashton at the Tameside Stadium.

 

Chesterfield were beaten 2-1 by League One Rotherham United in their opening home pre-season friendly.

 

All three goals came in the space of 7 minutes in the first half with Will Evans scoring the Spireites’ goal.

 

Anthony Gerrard and Michael Smith from the penalty spot were the Millermen on the mark.

 

Brandon Goodship scored his first goal for Southend United as the League One side drew 1-1 against Dagenham & Redbridge at the Chigwell Construction Stadium.

 

Goodship gave the Seasiders a 29th minute lead that Reece Grant cancelled out 8 minutes later.

 

Ebbsfleet United had to settle for a draw at National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town.

 

Fleet took the lead in the first half, thanks to a terrific strike from new signing James Ball.

 

But Hemel equalised 14 minutes from time when Liam Nash picked out the bottom corner.

 

Goals from Nathan Delfouneso and Armand Gnanduillet saw League One side Blackpool record a 3-0 victory at Barrow AFC, as the Bluebirds boss Ian Evatt made his final career appearance.

 

Former Seasider Evatt came on in the 84th minute for a farewell career appearance and he opted to do so by going up front.

 

FC Halifax Town travelled to National League North side Darlington and won 2-1.

 

Adam Campbell gave the home side the lead before Tobi Sho-Silva and Harry Freedman gave Town their win.

 

Oscar Gobern’s winner 4 minutes from time saw Dover Athletic win 2-1 at Park View Road against new-look Welling United.

 

Gobern slotted in to cancel out Anthony Cook’s penalty after Nassim L’Ghoul had given Dover an early lead.

 

Jason Kennedy with two, Liam Noble and Luke Williams were all on target as Hartlepool United beat Premier League newcomers Sheffield United`s under-23 side 4-2 at Victoria Park.

 

Jake Young bagged both for the young Blades.

 

Joe Leesley opened the scoring in the 34th minute help Harrogate Town towards a 3-1 victory against National League North new boys Farsley Celtic.

 

Goals at both ends from Jack Higgins and a penalty converted by Jon Stead were the second half goals.

 

A young Crystal Palace XI fell to a 1-0 defeat in a scrappy game against Bromley at Hayes Lane.

 

The only goal came on half-hour mark through Joe Kizzi.

 

Torquay United made it four wins in four pre-season games - 1-0 against Southern League Division One South side Tiverton Town at Ladysmead thanks to an Armani Little penalty.

 

The only goal came in the 31st minute from the spot after a foul on young winger JJ Evans – Armani Little converting.

 

AFC Fylde’s gained a 3-1 win at BetVictor Northern Premier League Division One North West side Ossett United.

 

Goals from Ryan Croasdale, Nick Haughton and Kurt Willoughby for the Coasters and former Salford City and FC United of Manchester man Tom Greaves for the hosts.

 

Solihull Moors were comfortable 4-0 winners at Northern Premier Division One South East newcomers Ilkeston Town.

 

Danny Wright after just 2 minutes, George Carline, Matt Stenson and Kyle Storer were the Moors on the mark.

 

The hosts were reduced to ten-men after a strong challenge from Massiah Macdonald on one of the Moors’ trialists was punished by the referee.

 

Newcomers Stockport County shared a 2-2 Nethermoor Park draw with former National League North rivals Guiseley AFC.

 

Frank Mulhern gave County a 49th minute lead that Jake Kirby doubled on 71 minutes.

 

Scott Garner pulled one back on 76 minutes and an 85th minute Gabriel Johnson effort pulled the Lions level.

 

 

National League North teams…..

 

AFC Telford United shared a 1-1 draw with a Coventry City XI at the New Bucks Head.

 

A trialist scored the League One side`s opener before another trialist levelled for the Bucks on 78 minutes.

 

Four second half goals saw Hereford FC comfortably beat West Midlands (Regional) League Division Tow minnows Ludlow FC 5-0.

 

The Bulls finally managed to break the deadlock on the stroke half time when Ludlow`s otherwise impressive keeper Liam Griffiths was caught in possession, leaving Alex Bray to roll the ball into an empty net.

 

Second half goals from Liam Bishop, Keiron Thomas and Rowan Liburd and Tom Owen-Evans rounded off a comfortable win.

 

Altrincham came back from behind to beat a Blackpool XI 2-1 at the J.Davidson Stadium.

 

Ben Tollitt opened the scoring for the Seasiders. 

 

But Lewis Walters and a Matt Chadwick spot kick won it for Alty.

 

Bradford Park Avenue beat a Sheffield Wednesday XI 3-1 at the Horsfall Stadium.

 

Ben Hedley converted a free kick to give Avenue a 19th minute lead.

 

Bradford then doubled their lead in the 29th minute through Jon Moran.

 

Alex Hunt reduced the deficit from the spot on 38 minutes.

 

And a trialist made it 3-1 in the 70th minute.

 

Joe Hull, a former Kidderminster Harriers trainee, came back to haunt his former club as Southern League Premier Division Central newcomers

Bromsgrove Sporting stole a 1-0 win 6 minutes from time at Aggborough.

 

Brackley Town and Southern Premier Central neighbours Banbury United shared a 0-0 draw at St James`s Park.

 

 

National League South teams….

 

Dulwich Hamlet shared a 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur`s under-23 side at Champion Hill.

 

Nyren Clunis gave Hamlet a 24th minute lead they held until the 66th minute when Tashan Oakley-Boothe was on target in an action-packed friendly.

 

Dartford were beaten 2-0 at Princes Park by League Two new boys Leyton Orient.

 

Marvin Ekpiteta and Sam Ling struck either side of the break as the O's recorded another victory.

 

Oxford City beat Southern Premier Division Central side AFC Rushden & Diamonds 3-1 at Marsh Lane.

 

Dan Rowe with two and Kyran Wiltshire for City and Jack Bowen for Diamonds.

 

Wealdstone beat Premier League Watford`s under-23s 4-0 at Grosvenor Vale.

 

Danny Green, Dejon Noel-Williams, Jacob Mendy and Dennon Lewis were the Stones on target.

 

Newcomers Tonbridge Angels were beaten 2-0 at Southern Division One South side Moneyfields.

 

Goals from Ryan Pennery from the spot and Scott Donnelly won it for Moneys.

 

Eastbourne Borough were also beaten, 3-1 at BetVictor Isthmian League Premier Division Lewes.

 

Nick Wheeler scored the Boro consolation but Jordy Mongoy, Dayshonne Golding and Dean Bown won it for the Rooks.

 

Chelmsford City won 2-0 at Isthmian Premier side Hornchurch.

 

An own goal and a Sam Higgins penalty sealed the Clarets win.

 

It finished 1-1 at Silver Jubilee Park between Southern Premier South side Hendon and St Albans City.

 

Joe Iaciofano gave the Saints a 35th minute lead and Ogo Obi equalised on 79 minutes.
