Ben Acquaye
Tony Joyce, manager of Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central club Kempston Rovers, has continued to make changes to his squad entering the New Year.

Dan Clifton has arrived from Southern Premier Division Central neighbours AFC Rushden & Diamonds.

 

Clifton is a ball-playing midfielder who will go straight into the squad for today's match against Yaxley.

 

He joined Diamonds shortly before the start of the 2018/19 season.

 

He is a 22-year-old attacking central midfielder who was a junior with the Northampton Town academy.

 

After a loan spell with Rugby Town he moved on to Hitchin Town, from where he was dual registered with Corby Town.

 

He has also appeared at Step 3 level with Biggleswade Town.

 

Going the other way to Hayden Road is midfielder Ben Acquaye, who leaves for Diamonds having joined Rovers from Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side Buckingham Athletic in March 2018.

 

Also previously with MK Gallacticos, Acquaye featured heavily featured for Rovers, totalling 37 apps and scoring 10 goals.

 

Jordan Wright has also joined Kempston on a dual registration with Spartan South Midlands Premier outfit Potton United.

 

He was previously with Biggleswade United.
