Magpies Bring in Brazilian Striker

BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South club Dorchester Town have added two more new players to their squad.

Striker Eder Batista and young midfielder Oli Lowes have joined the Magpies after impressing in pre-season.

Brazilian Batista has previously featured for Poole Town and in the Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier for Bournemouth Poppies and Hamworthy United/

He has spent pre-season training with Dorchester and scored in their opening friendly 5-0 win against Bridgwater Town.

Oli Lowes, younger brother of Magpies midfielder Billy, in an 18-year-old midfielder who has been with Poole Town for the past couple of seasons, playing mainly for the reserves and under-18s with an occasional bench appearance for the Dolphins senior side.

He is well known to Dorchester manager Callum Brooks, who was one of his coaches in the AFC Bournemouth academy, where Lowes spent 7 years.
