Colls Unveil Their Mystery Man

Supporters of BetVictor Northern Premier League Premier Division newcomers Atherton Collieries have finally solved the mystery of who one of their pre-season triallists is!

Manager Michael Clegg, who led Colls to promotion last season, has announced the signing of winger Toyeeb Mustapha from League of Ireland side Athlone Town.

The 23-year-old started his career at Shamrock Rovers and had a loan spell with Athlone whilst on Rovers` books.

In July 2013 he moved to St Patrick’s Athletic where he mostly featured for their under-20 side before joining Leinster Senior League Senior Division side Bluebell United in January 2014.

In July 2016 Mustapha stepped up to sign for League of Ireland side Waterford and in January 2017 switched to Carrick Rangers, joining Athlone on a permanent basis a year later.
