Experienced Appiah Joins Abbots
07-01-2019 I News Headlines
Bostik League South Central club Waltham Abbey have signed experienced winger or full-back Junior Appiah.

Appiah arrived at the Abbots from league rivals Cheshunt, for whom he signed for in November 2018 and made 7 appearances.

He turned out for a number of Essex sides, including Aveley, Maldon & Tiptree, Billericay Town, Harlow Town and Thurrock before joining Ware at the very end of 2016.

He started in the midfield role which he had occupied in games against them, but Ware turned him into a full-back, a position he came to really excel at.

Appiah made 41 appearances for Ware after making his debut at Cheshunt in the 2016/17 Boxing Day derby.

He moved to Haringey Borough in January 2018 and then onto Cheshunt
