Elsom is a central midfielder who was part of the West Ham United youth set up.

He joins Basildon from Barking, having started the 2018/19 season with Ware.

He had joined Ware in December 2017 from Carshalton Athletic. He has also seen service with Bishop`s Stortford and Soham Town Rangers.

Goalkeeper Bogard came through the youth ranks at West Ham United.

Whilst with the Hammers he had loan spells with Huddersfield Town and Tilbury and signed for Soham Town Rangers in August 2016 after leaving West Ham.

Spells with Braintree Town, Ware and Aveley followed before he joined Grays Athletic in the summer of 2018.

Left winger Hewitt has been around the Essex non-League scene for some time and was at Tilbury with Sussex.

He had two spells with the Dockers as well as being on the books at Romford and East Thurrock United
