Szczepaniak, 19, has spent the summer training with the first team and featured in several pre-season friendlies.

Born in Poland, he moved to Wrexham aged 15 and lives locally, but spent last season with SkyBet League Two side Morecambe.

He has also previously trained with Wrexham and played with Airbus UK Broughton.

Szczepaniak told https://www.wrexhamafc.co.uk: “I’m very happy that I have signed a contract because I know I can better myself here and I can’t wait.

“I know I can improve with Michael Oakes, Rob Lainton and Christian Dibble, if I’m going to train with them every day and watch them.

“I’m so happy I’m here at Wrexham. I gained confidence playing every week in pre-season. I am more confident now, that’s the main thing”.
