Four More New Mariners
BetVictor Northern Premier League Division One North West club Marine AFC have revealed four more new signings ahead of the 2019/20 season.

Francois Antoine, Craig Lindfield, Brett Mbalanda and Patrick Staunton have put pen-to-paper for the Mariners as manager Neil Young continues to strengthen his squad ahead of the big kick-off on 17th August.

 

Antoine, an attacking midfielder appeared for SkyBet League Two side Oldham Athletic at youth level before spells at NPL Division One South East side Newcastle Town and Hallmark Security League Premier Division outfit Runcorn Town last season.

 

Winger Lindfield, who came through the Liverpool youth system and counts FC United of Manchester and Accrington Stanley among his former clubs, returns for a second spell at the Marine Travel Arena, having made 18 starts plus 7 substitute appearances under Carl Macauley during the 2016/17 season, scoring 2 goals in the process.

 

Popular French striker Mbalanda also returns having scored twice in 4 starts plus one sub appearance at the tail-end of last season.

 

Mbalanda, 28, was previously with Union Sportive Lusitanos Saint-Maur in the French National 2 League.

 

Staunton, the son of former Liverpool, Aston Villa and Republic of Ireland player and manager Steve, has impressed in recent friendly appearances, operating at left-back and centre-half.
