The
23-year-old was most recently with National League side Boreham Wood, scoring 5
goals in 28 appearances last season.
Ash, who
was on trial at Wood`s new league rivals Yeovil Town earlier this summer, first
signed for Boreham Wood during the summer of 2017, arriving on a season-long
loan from Barnsley.
However,
his loan spell was cut short as he suffered a serious knee injury during
pre-season.
The
forward had impressed Wood boss Luke Garrard enough in that short period
though, who snapped up the striker permanently, upon his departure from
Barnsley in 2018.
He joined
the Tykes in January 2016 from Weston-super-Mare following an eye-catching
debut season in the Conference South, netting 14 goals in as many appearances.
He has
represented England Colleges and featured in an England C select XI.
He spent
the 2017/18 season back at Weston on loan and netted an impressive 19 goals in
34 appearances before returning to Wood. |
