The 21-year-old
came through the ranks at Gillingham, who he joined at the age of 9.
He
represented Kent Schools in 2008 and 2009 and was awarded his first
professional contract at Priestfield in 2016.
After his
first year with Gills as a professional, during which time he had a loan spell
at Chatham Town, Newcombe joined Wycombe Wanderers and, whilst there, enjoyed a
successful loan spell at Canvey Island.
He then
signed for Invicta`s league rivals Margate last season before moving on to
Isthmian South East neighbours Hythe Town.

him, as he provides competition for the goalkeeping spot. I’m sure Tim Roberts
and he will work well together and learn things off each other. We needed cover
as young goalkeeper Joe Coleman looks like he will be moving away from the area
