Two of
the faces have appeared as triallists in recent weeks.
The first
is Coventry-born winger Ryan Baldwin - the pacey player having been in and
around the squad since the opening friendly at Boston Town.
He scored
the opening goal of last Saturday's friendly win against Nuneaton Borough.
Baldwin
has previously been with Barwell and Bedworth United and also had successful
loan spells at Hinckley AFC, scoring 3 goals in 6 appearances, and last season at
Coleshill Town.
Also
becoming a Gingerbread is central defender AJ Adelekan, who has featured in Grantham`s
last two friendlies, playing at left back and in central defence.
The 23-year-old
was with BetVictor Southern League Premier Division Central side Rushall
Olympic last season and numbers Essex Senior League outfit Redbridge and
Dagenham & Redbridge amongst his former clubs.
Also joining
the Gingerbreads is goalkeeper Tom Nicholson, who was with National League
North side Alfreton Town last season.
The 31-year-old
joined Alfreton from FC Halifax Town in May 2018.
He
previously played for North Ferriby United but largely played a back-up role
with the Villagers, where he was a part of the side who won the FA Trophy in
2015.
His other
former clubs include Hull City, Scarborough and Garforth Town. |
