He has played 14 games in all competitions for the Dons first-team since making his debut in August 2017.
While still largely playing for the club’s under-23s, Nombe has been on the bench for Paul Tisdale’s first-team squad at times this season, making two appearances against Peterborough United and AFC Bournemouth in the Checkatrade Trophy and EFL Cup respectively.
The 20-year-old Croydon-born forward has enjoyed two prolific loan spells at National League South side Oxford City.
In his first spell with Oxford he played 9 games last season, scoring an impressive 6 goals in the process.
In his most recent spell at Marsh Lane, he played 13 times, scoring 4 goals and setting up several others as City went on to win six out of seven league matches in November and December.
