New Striker for Tigers

Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division club Worksop Town have signed Calum Ward from NCEL Division One side Campion FC.

Ward, 27, is a powerful striker with experience of both NCEL and Northern Premier League football.

 

A proven goalscorer whose previous clubs include Ossett Town, Tadcaster Albion, Selby Town, Pickering Town, Glasshougton Welfare and Garforth Town.

 

Whilst at Tadcaster Albion, he managed to score over 75 goals during the course of three seasons.

 

He also reached the quarter-finals of the Buildbase FA Vase and scored a hat-trick against Skelmersdale United to put The Brewers into the Emirates FA Cup Third Qualifying Round.

 

Ward will go straight into the squad for tomorrow’s Sandy Lane derby against Handsworth Parramore.
