National League North club Guiseley AFC have signed young left-back Brad Nicholson.

The 20-year-old made a big impression whilst on trial in pre-season being strong in the tackle, good in the air and willing to join in play.

 

He signed up following another good display in the Lions 6-0 thrashing of South Shields last Saturday.

 

Nicholson broke into men’s football at the world’s oldest football club, BetVictor Northern Premier League Division One South East Sheffield FC, before joining Handsworth Parramore and playing for them in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division in 2017.

 

In August 2018 he signed a six-month contract with National League side Chesterfield but he was soon back at Handsworth.
