The 23-year-old son of former Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and England midfielder Steve Hodge, pacey winger Elliot completed a scholarship at Notts County before signing for Lincoln City in 2015.

He spent two years with the Imps, appearing for the first team as well spending time on loan at Stamford AFC and Stafford Rangers along with spells in the National League North with Gainsborough Trinity and AFC Telford United.

Re-signing for Notts County in the summer of 2017 after being released by Lincoln, he spent time on loan at Alfreton Town early in 2018.

After his short-term contract with Burton ended in January 2019, Hodge signed for the Poppies new league rivals Leamington in March 2019.
