Joining permanently after a successful pre-season is 20-year-old midfielder Tom Richards, who has been part of SkyBet Championship neighbours Bristol City`s under-23 development squad and spent time on loan at then-National League South side Truro City last season.

Following the injury to Jack Batten last Saturday, Bath have been assisted by Bristol City in agreeing to send central defender Harvey Smith to Twerton Park on loan for a month.

Twenty-year-old Smith had an extended loan with National League North side Hereford FC last season, so knows the level, and is a player Gill is familiar with having monitored City`s under-23s for the last few years.

Meanwhile, James Ollis has signed on loan for BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South new boys Yate Town until January 2020.

This continues Ollis’ progression, having played for Toolstation Western League side Keynsham Town and Southern Division One South outfit Mangotsfield United in his first season in senior football.
