Thirty-four-year-old
Jennings began his career with Tranmere Rovers, where he played 140 times over
a 7-year period before moving north of the border to join Scottish Premier side
Motherwell.
After
three seasons in Scotland, he returned to England with SkyBet League One side
Coventry City before embarking on a second stint with Tranmere in 2013.
After
spending a season with Port Vale, Jennings then returned for a final spell with
Tranmere in where he captained the club for two campaigns in the National
League before joining Southport in the summer of 2017.
Whilst
on Port`s books, Jennings moved to Warrington in November 2017 on loan and,
after extending his spell, helped the Yellows to a third-place finish at the
end of the 2017/18 season, which qualified them for the play-offs, where they
were beaten 3–0 by Grantham Town at the semi-final stage.
In
August 2018, Jennings signed for National League outfit Barrow AFC and made 14
appearances for the Bluebirds.
