Wabo Joins The Darts

Vanarama National League South club Dartford have signed forward Norman Wabo.

The 21-year-old joins the Darts having left SkyBet League One side Southend United.

He made 3 appearances for Southend’s first team during the 2017/18 season.

That same season saw him net 12 times in 12 games for the club’s under-23s, including both goals in the Central League Cup Southern Section Final victory against MK Dons at Stadium MK.

Wabo, who joined Blues as a 14-year-old after featuring for Sunday club Westward Boys, has regularly found the back of the net for the club across all age groups, completing his two-year scholarship with 30 goals in 68 games in 2016.

The former Essex Schoolboy continued that form into the club’s under-23 side and has spent time on loan in the National League with Ebbsfleet United, Maidstone United and Braintree Town as well as in the Southern League with Cambridge City.
